How your data is handled
Saved resumes
When you save a resume in this app, it's stored in your browser's local database (IndexedDB) — not on our servers. It stays on this device, in this browser. We have no way to see it, and clearing your browser data or switching devices means it won't be there anymore. There's no account system and no server-side database for resume content.
When you request a score
The resume and job description text you submit are sent to our server, forwarded to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your results, and the result is returned to your browser. We don't write this content to a database. Our server doesn't log the contents of your submission — only basic operational data (like request timing, for rate-limiting) that doesn't include your resume or job description text.
AI model training
This app uses Anthropic's API under their commercial terms of service, which are separate from Anthropic's consumer products. Under these terms, data submitted through the API is not used to train Anthropic's models. You can read Anthropic's current privacy policy directly, since terms can be updated over time.
What we can't promise
No system is perfectly secure, and we won't claim otherwise. What we can tell you is what we've built: no server-side storage of your resume or job description content, no account system collecting your personal information, and processing through Anthropic's commercial API terms rather than consumer terms. Standard web risks — like browser extensions or network interception — exist outside our control, as they do for any website.
Deleting your data
Since saved resumes live only in your browser, deleting them is in your hands: remove individual resumes from the sidebar, or clear this site's data through your browser settings to wipe everything at once.
